 “ the food is habit forming, once you eat here you’re hooked”. Going out for a special occasion, usually is secondary to the food and location...NOT this time. Abbiocco in South Abington Twp., is a real treat. My girlfriend has been a steady customer from the time they opened and with good reason. Peggy encouraged me to to try her favorite item “Eggplant Parmesan” from the unique menu offered. However after listening to the specials...I made my choice Ahi Tuna. I opened my bottle of Maiolatesi Wine asked for a few glasses and let my Birthday celebration begin... Starting with a white cheddar cauliflower soup, followed by a garden salad, all fresh from the local farm market, topped with a refreshing Citrus dressing. My entrée was a delicious Ahi Tuna steak done to perfection. As another friend of mine who happened to be dining with her mother said, “ the food is habit forming, once you eat here you’re hooked”. She was right and I will return soon! The service was crisp and polite. You know some places the service is fast and stuffy...this was a welcomed change. I give this a 4 out of 4. If they ever get a liquor license I would increase my rating “to off the charts”. N. Rose H. |
