 This is one of the most difficult reviews we have ever written. June |
 The food is outstanding and the wait staff is friendly and personable. However the last two times we tried to have dinner our visit was terribly miss-managed. We did NOT have reservations and did NOT expect to be seated right away. We were told it would be a few minutes, “we have a party in the back that is running late, Please have a drink and we will be with you in a few.” The bar tender was great handling a bar that was full of people who were told the same thing. We waited for over an hour without anyone getting back to us with an update. There were people who had “show” tickets and this miss-management did effect there night... So let me be clear! I have always enjoyed the veal calabrese with a side of macaroni with his home made sauce. The Chilean sea bass is always a treat, along with a pinot noir wine and your night is looking great!... The food at Sidel's is worth the wait, just be warned that the management of your visit may not be up to the same outstanding enjoyment that you will have if you get to seated for dinner. I gave the food 3 stars and the management of our visit 0 stars. The friendly staff improved this rating from a minus to a zero... Richard S. |
