 When you walk in... What a lovely surprise I had when I walked into the patio of the new Hotel in Carbondale, Pa recently for lunch. The gardens surrounding Amber's Restaurant and the dining area plus the fountain made for a little slice of Europe! I had my young Grandaughter with me & she was delighted w/her chocolate milk, grilled cheese & the BEST fries anywhere! They are very accommodating to children & will prepare anything you ask for, even gluten free! I had a fabulous Cobb Salad & iced tea, (several!) as it was another hot day in a series here this summer. Service was great, lots of attention, very accommodating & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I will give Amber's Restaurant a 4 star rating & will definitely be back. You don't have to be an overnight guest to dine there. I give this a 4 out of 4! Enjoy! Linda LaCoste |
